iDVD - Video Tutorial
Learning how to create the interface for and then burn a dvd.

In Preparation:
- Students created a video about themselves that allowed them to present all the photo, video and audio skills they have learned.
- Students were provided with a gradesheet that matches the tutorial steps shown below.

Step #1: Chapter Markers
Prior to exporting their “My Life” video, while in iMovie, students will create at least five ‘Chapter Markers,” one for each of the “My Life” video segments: home, family, school, friends and hobbies. (video) |
Step #2: Share Video to iDVD
The “My Life” video needs to be successfully exported from iMovie to iDvd. (video) |
Select a Theme for your DVD. (video) |
Step #3: TV Safe
The dvd must be “TV Safe.” (video)

Step #4: Drop Zones
All drop zones should have an image or movie in them. (video)

Step #5: Scene Selection Menu Titles & Text
All page and scene selection menu titles and text are accurate. (video) |
Step #6: Drop Zones
The “Play Move” & all the “Scene Selection” menu links/buttons should function correctly. (video) |
Step #7: Drop Zones
Background music should function correctly & evident for each menu. (video) |

Check your DVD for any spelling or grammatical errors – (subtract 5 pts for each error). |
Then, Export to DVD! (video)
